Empower Serves as Presenting Sponsor of KTAR News 'The Issues That Matter' Town Hall on Arizona Ballot Measures

Empower’s Chief Growth Officer and team joined Arizona media in Scottsdale to discuss veteran care and Empower’s continued growth statewide.

PHOENIX, AZ, UNITED STATES, September 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Empower served as presenting sponsor of KTAR News' “The Issues That Matter," a live town hall on Arizona's November ballot measures held Tuesday, September 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West. Empower partnered with KTAR News and Arizona Talks to bring the forum to the Scottsdale community, and Chief Growth Officer Anthony Conti and members of Empower's growth team attended, speaking with attendees throughout the evening about the organization's work for veterans and its growing service lines.

The forum was hosted by LaDona Harvey, Jim Sharpe and Mike Broomhead of Arizona's Morning News. Experts, community leaders and local advocates joined the conversation to help voters understand measures on the November ballot, including:

Proposition 141. Would prohibit taxes or fees based on vehicle mileage.

Proposition 142. Would restrict diversity, equity and inclusion policies and programs.

Proposition 144. Would require voter identification and enact additional election security
measures.

Proposition 316. Would cap municipal sales taxes on groceries at 2 percent.

Proposition 318. Would restrict transgender athletes' participation in certain school sports and access to certain facilities.

Proposition 320. Would require large school districts to spend at least 60 percent of their budgets on direct classroom instruction.
